We finished our outdoor season yesterday by travelling to Anchor BC in Paisley.

There were 8 associations represented, all playing for the David Devaney Under 25s Top Ten Memorial Trophy.

They were Lanarkshire BA, Dunbartonshire BA, East Lothian BA, Renfrewshire BA, Borders BA, Glasgow BA, Stirling BA and, of course, WLBA.

WLBA Under 25s Top Ten won two out of three in the section stages losing only to Dunbartonshire BA.

However they certainly gained their revenge by beating Dunbartonshire BA 6 2 in the Final.

Special mention must be made of our Pairs, Jamie Deegan and Jordan Pearce.

They played five games and they won five games.

Team captain, Andrew Semple, was playing his last game for our Under 25s so he went out with a good victory.

This was a special day to end our season and on a successful note.

Bright sunshine and a lively crowd enjoyed loads of brilliant bowling amidst lots of encouragement.

The future of our sport would seem to be in good hands.
