NEWS

Congratulations to Kirkliston BC on winning the Inter County Top 5 at Sighthill BC on Sunday. This is only the second year for this new competition and Kirkliston have won it both years so well done to them.

They started this morning beating Slateford BC in the Semi Finals 3 – 1 and went on to win the final against Lockerbie BC also 3 – 1. Play was very difficult for the players due to frequent gusts of gale force winds along with showers of rain. Kirkliston had to battle hard to overcome Slateford BC 3 -1 in the semi final with wins for Greg Logan, Neil Spiers and Grant Logan. The final was also a closely contested tie against a young team from Lockerbie BC, but wins for John Aitken, Greg Logan and Neil Spiers won the trophy for Kirkliston.

Kirkliston now hold the Inter County Top 5 and Top 10 titles in a highly successful season for the club.
